The Referees Had An Epic Game-Winning Drive And Handed The Browns A Win On A Silver Platter

Okay, where do I begin after this roller coaster of a game? I guess we'll just start with the MVP of the game and move down the list? And in a game where Myles Garrett had 7 tackles, 2 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and a blocked field goal, the Most Valuable Player goes to.......THE REFS!

It all began with 47 seconds to go when PJ Walker was sacked, fumbled, and the game was over. Colts just had to knee it out. Oh wait, nevermind, there's laundry on the field! And it's......Illegal Contact?

While it had zero to do with what was actually going on with the play, I guess it's not the worst call in the world. Wait, I actually know it's not the worst call in the world, because that call actually happened the very next play when the Refs realized the Browns still weren't able to win the game on their own.

38 seconds left:

Holy shit what a horrible call. I'm man enough to admit it. That ball couldn't have been caught if Randy Moss stood on Calvin Johnson's shoulders. I mean, even if you zoom out this photo in which Donovan Peoples-Jones is already damn near out of bounds, you still can't even see the football on the screen.

That pass may have ended up in the stands, but guess what? The refs called it. And for that reason, it is Pass Interference. 1st and goal from the 1 for the Browns…

…..and it still took us 4 plays to punch it in. But Kareem Hunt eventually did, essentially saving dumb but smart but dumb Kevin Stefanski's job and moving the Browns to 4-2!!!! I'll admit that's a tough break for the Colts, but I really have zero sympathy for their fans. This shit happens to Cleveland damn near every other week, so when the shoe is on the other foot, I gotta take the Win where I can get it.

Now, as for the other elephant in the room: what the fuck is going on with Deshaun Watson? He threw a pick (should've been two) in the 1st quarter and then left the game with possibly a concussion…

….but then he got cleared to play and just never returned?

Kevin Stefanski can say they were playing it safe, but uhh, where I'm from, if you can play and you don't, that means you're benched. Did the Browns really bench the $230,000,000 Man? And did PJ Walker + the Refs really just put up 39 points without him?

Listen, I'm not saying the guy is fully healthy, but if we're going to play it safe every time he gets a bump, we need to explore more QB options. Because this defense is too damn good to let PJ Walker lead the Offense. Do we trade for Jacoby Brisset? Do we go after Kirk Cousins? Or maybe could we just play our healthy yet horrible franchise QB? 4-2 is 4-2!!! But Jesus Christ the Browns are such a mess.
