"They're Fighting For Clicks, We're Fighting For Wins" - Oregon Coach Dan Lanning Didn't Hold Back In His Pre Game Speech About Colorado

Let's Goooooooo!  Dan Lanning didn't hold back a thing during his pregame speech and took multiple shots at Colorado and Deion Sanders.

One thing Deion has proved is if you are going to come at him, much like Omar in The Wire, you best not miss. In no way am I saying Deion is the king, I am however saying it's very clear Deion has a list of receipts and a long list of grudges. He's much like Michael Jordan that he's using anything and everything as motivation. From being passed over for jobs, to other coaches blowing off his kids at showcase camps, to reporters not giving his current team the credit he thinks they deserve ...Deion is using it.

Up until now it worked out. And if Dan Lanning did this on Wednesday, maybe Colorado is able to use it for a spark. Wisely, Dan Lanning did it just before kick where it was essentially too late for Colorado to use it as motivation. A very wise move if we're being honest.

Either way as it turns out ... Dan Lanning simply has the horses, far more horses than Colorado (up 28-0 as I type this) and even if they found out about it ... it wouldn't make a difference. I love this though. Have college coaches take shots in press conferences, have coaches have ICY cold hand shakes, have coaches get borderline physical with each other ...give me all the bad blood. This is what we want. We want hatred, we want rivalries, we want potshots. GIVE US HATRED IN COLLEGE SPORTS AND STOP MAKING SUPER CONFERENCES AND RELOCATING TEAMS THAT ERASE STORIED RIVALRIES !!!!!

ps - shoutout Dan Lanning for being as real as they  come
