It's Almost Time For The US Open, Which Means Beer Chugging Rocket Megan Lucky Is Warming Up

The Yankees' season is over, but thankfully it's almost time for my favorite event of the year, the US Open. In just two weeks hundreds of thousands of fans will flock to Queens where they'll indulge in copious amounts of alcohol and amazing food while watching the best of the best compete for the final grand slam of the year. If you've never been before, it's an absolute blast.

Well you know what else the start of the US Open means? It's Megan Lucky's time to shine. Now who is Megan Lucky? She's the beer girl from the last two years who captivated the entire country by simply *checks notes* chugging a beer. She's just a delight on all accounts. Without fail, whenever the camera finds her, Lucky rises to the occasion.

Her debut came in 2021.

Now anyone can chug a beer, but how about two on the spot while live on TV?

Last year she ran it back in spectacular fashion and America proceeded to fall into the palm of her hand. She even did it in the same amount of time. We call that a professional.

With that she naturally saw a giant spike in followers once her name got out there. From a few thousand to six figures just like that. What a country.

Unfortunately her corporate job didn't care about the new-found fame and laid her off. Disgusting.

(NY Post) Now unemployed and living back home in Ridgewood, NJ, with her parents, she’s aiming to cash in on her internet fame — and move back to the Big Apple.

“I got laid off from my corporate job back last fall and then I was traveling the world a little bit, to find myself, as cliché as that sounds,” Lucky, 27, a former recruiter, told The Post. “I still haven’t been able to truly monetize. So I’m starting to post more on my socials.”

Their loss. The way I see it, Lucky should be the face of the US Open and alcoholic beverages that sponsor the event. Seems like a match made in heaven, no? I believe we're headed in that direction.

One obvious way to capitalize on her skill is by going after beverage sponsors. “I’ve done a couple partnerships with alcohol brands — Truly is the most recent,” she said.

We now have a date for her grandiose return to the friendly confines of Arthur Ashe Stadium.

The blonde beauty, who first went viral in 2021 for guzzling a Heineken on the Jumbotron at the typically reserved tennis tournament, vowed to return to the US Open in Queens on Sept. 1.

I kinda wish it was more spontaneous and a surprise, but beggars can't be choosers. I think I speak for all tennis fans who plan on tuning in when I say we cannot wait to see her try and duplicate 7:37 for the three peat. Will you then be getting basically the same blog you're reading here? You bet your ass you will.

I fucking love the US Open. The Friday heading into Labor Day Weekend is such a great opportunity to take advantage of the half day from work and just head down there to roam the grounds, gamble on some matches, and have a day. That just so happens to be September 1st this year. Maybe you'll run into a certain someone.
