Dude Makes UNREAL Final Table Call With Just Ace High With $500k Riding On It

This hand that happened last night is nuts. Here's the situations- two players were heads up for a bracelet. The buy-in for the tournament was a measly $1k, and first place was a rather non-measly $1 million. Both players were about even in chips, with Guang having a slight 5bb lead when the hand began.

On the 233 flop, Guang check/raised Brown's cbet to 72 million with king high, which Brown called with ace high and a gutter.

And then on the turn, Guang moved all in, putting Brown's tournament life at stake.

To call off here would be a $500,000 call, or potential $500,000 mistake. It's easy when you watch it at home, but if you're at the table playing a $500,000 heads up match, could you make this call with just ace high after being check-raised on the flop? Well, tht's exactly what Brown did!

The river came a queen and Tyler Brown left Guang with just 5bb behind, which he finished off on the next hand to win $1 million and the WSOP bracelet.

Just gotta tip your cap. Guang even could have been bluffing with a better ace high. But Brown simply did not believe it and his gut instinct won him $500,000.

Next time someone hero calls incorrectly, or better yet folds incorrectly, let's just remember this hand. It's tough to do under the bright lights playing for so much money. Well done, Tyler Brown.
