Rex The Husky Just Beat Cancer's ASS

A Siberian husky called Rex has undergone an amazing transformation after having a huge tumour removed thanks to a pleading TikTok video from his owner.
The six-year-old dog was suffering from a tumour on his snout so big that it stopped him from seeing and breathing easily, with nobody wanting to operate on it.
Worried about the state of his pet, Rex's owner, Damián, sought treatment for his beloved pet at a number of veterinary clinics in the province of Cádiz, in southwestern Spain, where he lives.
However, all the clinics told him that this type of tumour could not be operated on and the vets did not give Rex long to live.
In a last-ditch attempt to save his dog's life, Damián posted a video to TikTok with the aim of finding a vet in Spain who could treat it.

If I didn't post this story as an early June, Friday pick-me-up, then you might as well take my dog Ace and hand his ass back to the pound I picked that little street rat up from. I just couldn't consider myself a dog guy if I didn't.
Ed would have given Rex the Ol Yeller treatment. Obviously.
First off, I want to give a brief shout out to both Faunivet - the vet clinic in Spain that saved Rex the Husky - and Damian, Rex's owner that searched HIGH AND LOW to find a clinic that would operate on and save Rex's life. This is exactly what every dog deserves and should get. Unconditional love and care when they need it most.
But let's move on to the star of this blog's show, Rex the Husky. Rex was down BAD for a while:
Cancer is such a motherfucker. In a weird way, I expect it in humans. We expose ourselves to so much shit that we shouldn't, and with how evil that disease is, it makes sense that it's here. But with dogs? Fuckkkkk that. Any animal, really. What in the fuck did Rex do to deserve this shit? Provide people with limitless love and companionship?
Thank Christ for Faunivet and Damian though. Ya know why? THEY SAVED REX's LIFE!!!

LOOK AT HOW HANDSOME AND HAPPY REX IS POST SURGERY!!!!
OUR GUY LOOKS LIKE A MILLION DOLLAR BILL!! AND FEELS LIKE ONE TOO!!! He can breathe and see again and per his vets, he's well on his way to a SPEEDY recovery. He's gonna have an awesomely inspirational story when he shoves that snout up his friend's assholes and into stranger's crotches when he's ready to start hitting the dog park again.
For real, this story came across my desk this morning and it instantly put me in a good mood. Dogs are the absolute best; yes, I'm the most miserable asshole on earth, but without my dog the distance between myself and 2nd place would be even wider. Dogs are the only good thing going on in this world.
