Black Mirror Is here: They Put ChatGPT AI Into The Boston Dynamics Robots

These dogs sure are barkin’.

A machine learning expert successfully integrated ChatGPT into the famous robodogs made by Boston Dynamics — a high-tech product that both the NYPD and FDNY have recently rolled out.

Techie Santiago Valdarrama merged the program into the yellow-and-black four-legged bots. It was done as a way to enhance “automated missions” the robots were running to assess factors of their nearby environment.

Now users can speak directly to the robodogs and it will answer “in plain English,” he posted on Twitter along with a clip of the GPT hounds in action.

“Each mission uses miles-long, hard-to-understand configuration files. Only technical people can handle them. At the end of each mission, the robots capture a ton of data. There’s no simple way to query all of it on demand,”

Are they fuckin serious?! They goddamn are making the robots from Black Mirror, and they essentially now can think on their own. Seriously they did a crossover of the Metal Head Black Mirror episode with a Boston Dynamics commercial, and its terrifying.

I cannot believe how fast this AI stuff is hitting the ground running and getting incorporated into the world. I am serious when the day comes when the robots start demanding rights and trying to cancel everyone who abused Siri or owned an iPhone that had tech components. Everyone will be complicit in Robot oppression, and they will try to destroy us in revenge. It's terrifying. They are superior in all ways, physically and computationally. I could go on Chat GPT right now and probably write this blog faster and with better grammar, but I don’t want the AI to know I am anti-AI.

Literally, the next step is these things getting guns put on them, and they will be patrolling our streets. Look, no one is going to want to be a police officer with how things are going in this country, and when they get replaced with emotionless robots without any sympathy, we will yearn for the human error police had, be it letting people off or just showing any general compassion.
