A Grown Man Found Out Halfway Through His 36-Month Car Lease That He Would Not, In Fact, Own The Car At The End

There are a plethora of things about the internet which I absolutely detest, but right there at the top is the omnipresence of the average American's stupidity. Yeah, I know most people out there are remarkably dumb and the reason this country is in a tailspin, but I don't like being bombarded with it. Keep that shit in your own house.

But we have people like Eric here — I'm guessing that's his name, he has Eric energy — going on social media and broadcasting to the world that they don't know what a car lease is. This is a realization that should have stunned Eric and made him ask some very important questions like, "Am I a moron? Should I be allowed to vote? How do I function on a day-to-day basis?"

I just want to know when being stupid became cool. This guy had a revelation that should have made him question if he is cut out to exist in society and his first thought was that he needed to pull his phone out to share with the world his shocking idiocy. When did we lose any sense of shame in this country?

He could have asked the car salesman what a lease was. He could have Googled it. He could have texted literally anyone on the planet. And instead we have this TikTok 18 months down the line.
