CBA RIGGED: Two Teams In The Chinese Basketball Association Have Been Disqualified For Match-Fixing

American sports fans love to point the finger and say that the league they are watching is rigged when something doesn't go their way.

Well, it turns out that the Chinese Basketball Association has a legitimate case of this on its hands after what occurred in a game between the Shanghai Sharks and Jiangsu Dragons. Both teams have been DISQUALIFIED from the CBA playoffs after an investigation determined both teams engaged in match-fixing. As you can see above, the fines and suspensions are heavy for both the teams and the personnel.

The Sharks, who have ex-NBA star Eric Bledsoe on their team, were accused of "giving up" in the second half of Game 2 of their best-of-three playoff series, so that the former Kentucky Wildcat (who was suspended for four games prior to this) would only miss one quarterfinal game if the team extended this series and won Game 3.

The match-fixing itself took place in the final two minutes of the game, when the Dragons committed five straight turnovers and helped the Sharks mount a 10-0 comeback to move on to the semifinals.

NBA Hall of Famer Yao Ming is actually the president of the CBA, and he released a statement regarding these events...

After accusations of something being sketchy took place, Bledsoe didn't think anything was wrong (Michael Beasley is also on the team).
