Rob Dyrdek Filming 336 Episodes Of Ridiculousness Per Year Is Far More Absurd Than Him Tracking Every Hour Of His Life

336 episodes per year? I can't get over that. Sure we can talk about the tracking every hour of his life thing. But this is about Ridiculousness. This is about MTV. It's far too much! I don't care that it's cheaper for MTV to show Ridiculousness for 23 hours a day. I'm not even mad at Rob Dyrdek for making this much money. I just want the good old days back. It's cliche, I know, but it's true.

Do you know how good we used to have it with MTV? It was the perfect non-sports TV channel. You had TRL. You had music videos. But you also had absurd shows like Parental Control, Room Raiders and Next which were perfect for background noise. You had Two-A-Days. You had Pimp My Ride. You had Laguna Beach and The Hills. You had Real World and Road Rules and The Challenge. Singled Out was a great show. You had Rock n Jock! Do you remember how awesome Rock n Jock was?!? Shout out Daisy Fuentes.

Look at all those names I listed and how many I didn't. Don't worry, I won't forget MTV Spring Break

That's how great MTV was. Now we have 336 episodes of Ridiculousness being filmed per year. It's the biggest TV tragedy I can think of. It's the biggest I want to go back to the good old days I can think of when it comes to entertainment. Shout out channel 29 growing up. It was a staple in the household. 

Tracking every hour of your life? No thank you. 7 hours of sleep? Good one. Even funnier is 7 hours of work. Who only works 7 hours a day? What happens if something happens in a game late night? You're not just going to work. Can't relate. Other than that me and Rob Dyrdek basically live the same life. Waking up at 5am - mostly because my kid comes into my room at some point. Brain-trains? Yeah, it's called playing Sporcle. Clean diet? Yeah, I eat a lot of chicken too. 

This isn't about me though. This is about society. This is about bringing back MTV. Everything now has streaming or 500 channels of shit. How do we not get the old MTV channel back? I know there's MTV Classic that shows music videos. I just want the full lineup. I don't want 336 episodes of Ridiculousness. Fucking absurd.
