WATCH: Baggage Handlers At The Airport Slamming Down Luggage And Laughing About It

SOURCE - Two baggage handlers have been sacked after an urgent probe into shocking footage which showed them mishandling luggage at Melbourne Airport.
Some bags were thrown so hard that they fell off the belt. One man was shown laughing while another man lifted a bag above his head, hurling it down towards the belt with force.

I don't understand this at all. This looks like so much extra work to slam down the bags of people you don't even know. It's not like this was the luggage of a guy who was an asshole to you at the front gate. These guys have no idea whose suitcase it is. It could be someone awesome like Tom Hanks or Michael J. Fox. These guys don't give a fuck. They just want to watch the world burn.

In fairness to them though, our bags get the shit kicked out of them by that conveyor belt anyway. I've seen many bags slam down to the belt or fall off the belt and land on the floor. The whole system exists just to beat the fuck out of things we deem important enough to bring with us even if we're only away from home for a short time. These are literally the things we decided most important to survive a week away from home and we put it in a case that just gets pummeled the entire trip.

The entire flying experience is so dreadful. I'm not scared of flying, I just hate it. If I have a choice of driving or taking a train, I'll gladly do that then spend time waiting in line to make sure I'm not a terrorist, then be tightly packed on the plane with shitty food/bathroom options and have my stuff get treated like I just asked Joe Pesci to shine my shoes.
