Stevie Triesenberg Should Be At The Top Of Your Pilot Rankings

When you're scrolling the internet on a random Saturday morning you truly don't know what you're going to stumble upon. The directions these algorithms send us on are WILD. For example, this morning I was on YouTube watching a compilation of Godzilla atomic breath scenes before gazing at a 20 minute clip of Steph Curry's greatest shots. Didn't have to type in a single thing to get from video to video, that's just what the algorithm overlords decided I should do. After I watch Curry defy logic with shot after shot Stevie popped up. Click.

Meet Stephanie "Stevie" Triesenberg a true master of social media and the skies. She uses her platforms to show you all the ins and outs of flying an airplane. The 24 year old is an aircraft owner, pilot, and software engineer with just a shade under 3 million followers across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. As of a few hours ago, I'm a fan.

Her videos on the tok range from a day in the life of a pilot soaring the skies to answering questions from her followers like the one below where she explains how she pulls out her plane from the hanger by herself.

I learned pretty quick upon my binge that pilots talk A LOT while in the air. Way too much talking with strangers for my liking. I'm sure it's like a second language for these pilots, but how they communicate with all these numbers and words in such a fast paced manner is nuts. I'd need everyone to slow the fuck down and repeat what they're saying at least 10 times before we're on the same page.

There's not much of a point to this blog other than the YouTube algorithm is chaos and flying social media is kinda awesome. I don't really know what's going on, but it's extremely relaxing. Watch this video and tell me you don't feel relaxed.

Very relaxing!

I also appreciate how someone is using social media in a pretty unique way. Go on TikTok (at your own risk) and you'll see people doing all these stupid dances followed by millions of likes for almost no reason at all. It's a microcosm of how stupid the world has gotten, but here and there you'll find someone like Stevie Triesenberg who is extremely talented and is able to showcase what they do in an awesome way. I've firmly slotted for at the top of my pilot rankings right ahead of Harrison Ford and Tom Cruise.
