MATT SCHNELL JUST PULLED OFF THE COMEBACK OF THE YEAR

HOLY SHIT!! SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA STAND UP!!!

When Ben Mintz came up to my desk earlier in the week and told me Matt Schnell was his boy from back in the day, I knew for sure he’d get the underdog win today (Mintzy Magic, ever heard of it?) but I didn’t think he’d put on the comeback of the century in the process! That mighta been the best comeback in the octagon since Darren Elkins made Joe Rogan cry! I mean are you kidding me?!

I think Sumudaerji dropped Schnell 4 times and had him rocked about 400 times in that fight, but Shreveport heart don’t quit! Schnell kept coming forward, got the takedowns he needed, and sunk in a sub to lock it up. He fucked Sumudaerji up BAD with ground-and-pound right before that, as well.

SpinninBackfist producer and Barstool intern Lee hit an 18-1 bet on that submission (and Ev hit that as well) so we went nuts for that….
