The NHL playoffs are in full swing with upsets, plenty of overs, and a few series that will make the Spittin’ Chiclets crew look terrible or like heroes. This blog will be an everyday staple in the life of the EBR bettors.

Murls' Breakdown:
One of the greatest coaching performances of all time was Friday Night Lights with Billy Bob Thornton and the coin toss to get into the playoffs. Right before he flips the coin, he turns and says “ Ain’t no Curses!”
Sheldon Keefe should reenact this scene before the game. The past means nothing, this team is not like the others and the best part is you have Papi on your side. Auston Matthews is the best player in this series and the Eastern Conference. This is the biggest game of his career and it's time for him to assert his dominance and lead from the front. I hope the refs leave the whistles at the hotel and let the boys play. This series has been so well played without them getting in the way.
I know it will take a lot to knock off the champs, but I said it on the POD and I will say it again… I am on the Leafs! The Absolute Wagon shirt is getting a little ripe from wearing every day but it can make it through one more game to clinch the series.

Toronto knows it has to get the lead and stop coming from behind and force Tampa to take chances. Game 7s are always a coin toss, but I do see the Leafs coming out on top, possibly in Overtime!!
