Steelers Fans Start Your Week With A Mock Draft You Will Love

From PFF.com:

15. PITTSBURGH STEELERS: QB KENNY PICKETT, PITTSBURGH

A consistent knock on Kenny Pickett will be that he’s a fifth-year senior and one of the older quarterback prospects in the 2022 class, but that shouldn’t keep him from being a top-20 pick in April’s draft. A finalist for the Heisman, Pickett completed 334-of-499 attempts for 4,308 yards, 42 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season. He earned a career-high 92.3 PFF grade that ranked top-five among all quarterbacks in 2021. His PFF passing grade when kept clean was also among the best in all of college football at 94.3.

If the current trajectory of this season continues (W,L,W,L) and the Steelers finish 8-8-1 to sit right in the middle of the board...and Kenny somehow falls to them...you gotta pull it. You gotta do it. This would be best case scenario.

It would feel like making up for past mistakes over 30 years ago when another Pitt QB was coming out in the draft and the Steelers passed on him....

Of course not saying Kenny would end up being Dan Marino who is a top _ QB of all time, but still, they find themselves in an eerily similar situation to where they were back in '84 when they were out of Bradshaw and heading into quarterback purgatory when they could've taken the hometown kid….i'm just saying. This would be a hell of a transition off of the Big Ben era:
