An Olympic Boxer Was DQ'd For Trying To Be Mike Tyson ... As In He Tried To Bite His Opponent's Ear Off During The Fight

[Post] - A Moroccan boxer was disqualified Tuesday for taking a page out of Mike Tyson’s playbook — trying to chomp down on his opponent’s ear.

Youness Baalla was trailing by points when he leaned in toward New Zealand’s David Nyika’s right ear with his mouth open wide, wildly reminiscent of Tyson’s infamous 1997 bite that ripped off a chunk of Evander Holyfield’s lobe.

Baalla, 22, had already lost, but he was disqualified after the fight for his “intolerable action” after Olympic officials ruled he “very clearly intended to bite the ear/face of his opponent,” New Zealand’s Stuff noted.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very much in the boat of doing anything possible to win. But you can't be out here 'intending to bite the ear/face off' your opponent. That's just fucked up. Not only is it fucked up, it's just ... gross. Nobody wants to bite an ear. What happens if you go full Tyson and get a good chomp? You just gonna spit it out then what? You got another person's blood all in your mouth and a half of an ear lobe. No thank you at all. 

I do love the response from the New Zealand dude who won the fight: 

Nyika told a reporter for 1 News in his native New Zealand that luckily his rival “didn’t get a full mouthful” even though he bit his cheekbone. “Luckily he had his mouthguard in and I was a bit sweaty… But c’mon man this is the Olympics, get your s–t together,” he complained.

Nyika is ready to kick that dude's ass all over again. It's the Olympics! Get your shit together! Again, you can't be biting dudes that's just wrong. It's crazy to think about Tyson though. I'm 34 and that's truly what I remember watching live of Tyson. I was too young for his start and crazy run, but I remember exactly where I was when he bit Holyfield's ear and as a 10-year old that was something to see. Scarring to say the least. Nyika went to Instagram too. 

Nothing nice to say? I get you kicked his ass, but he tried to bite your fucking ear off man. I'd be talking all the shit. I wouldn't be cool and calm if someone tried to bite me. I can't believe the rest of the fight went on. How does a ref miss this? Feel like you should pretty easily see a chomp. Regardless, the Moroccan boxer is now DQ'd and banned from the competition. No word on if he gets to stay in the sex-crazed Olympic Village. 

I honestly think biting someone is worse than a hit below the belt. You get DQ'd for both obviously, but the classic hit in the nuts pain goes away a little faster than a bite. If I ever find myself in a boxing match and somehow winning, please punch me in the nuts and don't bite my ear. Now let's get these two in Rough n Rowdy and really settle it.
