The Proposed Renderings For The New A's Stadium Are So Sweet That They're Going To Make Oakland A Destination Ballpark

Fellas....I love a good stadium rendering. I think I've blogged stadiums and proposed stadiums at least 5 times since I started this job. There's just something sweet about people who dream up the wildest stadiums anyone has ever seen and bring it to life with a budget of hundreds of millions of dollars. This A's stadium is just the next in line and it looks like they let a child design it and I mean that in the best possible way. Look at these still shots

You want a national park on the roof? Go nuts. You want to take in the game from a grassy knoll on blanket in right center field as your kid with doodoo fingers from ice cream runs around...Oakland has you. On the water front...you bet. The people who are building this stadium have taken everything into account. I am pretty sure there are plans for a gondola to the roof as well. This stadium wouldn't work or fit in Kansas City(also have proposals out for a new stadium in downtown KC), but in California it fits like a charm. It fits the Oakland vibe. Stadiums are all about the vibes. The experience. The Oakland A's might have the best uniform in all of baseball and now they've got cool guy stadium vibes coming too so they can stay in Oakland without being forced to play in a cinder block shit house. 

The Oakland Colisium was of course...not drafted in our MLB stadium draft with Jared yesterday. This stadium would've been a top 5 pick for sure

The other stadiums not draft…Tampa Bay, Toronto, Anaheim, and the Nationals. Something for the Rays to be scared of…
