Hockey Night In Gambling: Saturday Picks From RA's Gambling Corner Feat. Murls Are Here

I hope you tailed me last night. 4-0 isn't gonna happen too often. But the Sens are who I thought the were: a scrappy team that is better than people think.

I'll be upfront and say that I'm not exactly in love with the board tonight. I still want to see what some teams do and how goalies look. Having said that, it's Saturday night and I'm playing with house money.

The Sens scored five on Freddie last night and face Jack Campbell tonight. Their confidence will be sky high and a goal per period should happen. So I'm staying on OVER 2.5 goals by OTT -110. And I also like OTT +180.

We also have a 'former Canucks goalie' vs. 'new Canucks goalie' battle in Calgary as Jacob Markstrom faces Braden Holtby. I'm going with the veteran and taking VAN -1.5 +290.

Friend of Spittin' Chiclets, son of The Capital District, and 17-year pro Matt Murley will also be sharing his picks here as well.

Anaheim @ Las Vegas (-200) (PL -1.5 +105)

Murls Take: Congrats if you got in on the over in Toronto with us! As my old man used to say “another day, another dollar” and for the dollars, we are going to go back to the desert. The Golden Knights are a great team in the beginning of seasons. Stone getting on the scoresheet the first night is big for this team and why would he slow down? Anaheim put up a fight last game but can’t stay with the 4 lines of Vegas. I think the Knights PP comes through with a few tonight and makes it a little easier for us bettors. Books giving + money on the puck line with this mismatch is too good to pass up on.

P.S. Go Bills...I'll be flipping back and forth.

Murls Prediction: Vegas 4-1

Murls Best Bet: Vegas Golden Knights -1.5 +105
