Do I Look Nervous? Its Do Or Die For The Defending Champion St. Louis Blues Tonight

This rings very true for a night like tonight.  We don't have time for trepidation any longer.  The Blues have zero wiggle room left.  Its a stunning spot to be in after they were up 3-1 in the second period the other night, I thought they were permanently back on their game.  I will even admit that I started getting excited for Round 2 and a date with the Vegas Golden Knights.  Yeah, looking back that was pretty stupid but you are lying if you say you didn't start to have those feelings too if you are a Blues fan.  Things look bleak and now everyone is ready to pencil the Canucks into a series win, as people do when you are up 3-2.

All that being said, there is one pretty big fly in the ointment for anybody excited to see the Blues get eliminated tonight...

Jordan Binnington is undefeated in NHL elimination games in his life.  Jake Allen played his ass off the past 3 games and has given the Blues a chance to come back.  The wouldn't be alive without him right now.  That being said,  I think we all saw this move coming.  Binnington was the answer for the Blues in a thousand different situations last year and I think its very fair to ask him to be the savior again.  When he is on, he gives the Blues a level of mojo and swagger that makes them an entirely different team.  They are turbocharged.  People will be quick to chirp that the Canucks have run Binnington's show so far in this series and I'm not going to argue that.  I only have one thing to say...

LETS GO BLUES!!!!!!!!!
