Whoops...The Canadiens Accidentally Leaked Their 2019 Draft Board

This is why the internet is amazing. The Habs put out the same pre-draft type series show as the Blackhawks. The difference is…fucking reddit man. Habs fans are crazy and some dude on reddit went frame by frame and took a screen shot, zoomed in, enhanced, enhanced, and enhanced like he was in the FBI until we get to see how Marc Bergevin and the Habs had the draft going

Here is what it says and in parathensis I put where the prospect actually went.

2. Kaapo Kakko (Rangers, 2nd overall)

3. Trevor Zegras (Ducks, 9th overall)

4. Bowen Byram (Avalanche, 4th overall)

5. Alex Turcotte (Kings, 5th overall)

6. Peyton Krebs (Golden Knights, 17th overall)

7. Matthew Boldy (Wild, 12th overall)

8. Vasili Podkolzin (Canucks, 10th overall)

9. Kirby Dach (Blackhawks, 3rd overall)

10. Cole Caufield (Canadiens, 15th overall)

I love Kirby Dach. I am all in. That’s where I shifted my brain. I am very high on him.

Still…not great seeing his name at 9th by someone who scouts professionally for a living. We’ll see how it all shakes out and if the Blackhawks were right and everyone else on the draft floor ends up being wrong. Fully prepared to use this as ammo as I see fit.
