Eagles Lock Up DT Stud Malik Jackson To A 3-Year, $30 Million Deal On The Way Back To A Super Bowl Championship

Now THIS type of move is what I love to see out of the Eagles this offseason. We don’t need the sexiest plays in the world like trading for AB or signing Le’veon Bell to get back to championship status. Would beasts like those be awesome to have in South Philly? Of COURSE. But signing other Pro Bowl studs across many positions of need (with pretty solidly valued contracts, no less) will be better in the long run. Malik Jackson perfectly fits this squad. I liked Timmy J at DT. We all did. But this is a certain upgrade at the position.

Brandon Graham, Malik Jackson, Fletcher Cox, Derek Barnett with hopefully a Chris Long back to mess up some third down lives. That’s one helluva base for a DL. And possibly the best part of this signing is the amount it’s going to free up Fletcher Cox to straight up EAT. You can’t exactly triple team #91 anymore when another beast is ready to feast. Malik and Fletcher Cox side by side, dick by dick. Just thinking about that interior duo lining up to end all days and slay all wives makes it move to the moon. BYE BYE, ELI.
