Alexis Ren Admits She Has Real Feelings For Her DWTS Partner Alan Bersten
I am a HUGE Dancing With The Stars fan. It is probably the only show that I watch live on TV besides sports. Monday nights I sit down on my couch at 8pm and enjoy two hours of Tom Bergeron jokes and D-list celebs hitting the ballroom floor. 21 year old Alexis Ren has been partnered with 24 year old Alan Bersten, and you know Alan is thanking the DWTS gods for this partnership. Alexis has a ballet background and is a great dancer. Last night as the show went to commercial, they teased the couple’s dance by playing part of Alexis’ confessional where she said, “I am developing feelings for Alan.” I gasped. I figured it was some kind of fake out because DWTS absolutely LOVES hyping up any kind of actual relationship between celeb and pro dancer. If there is a teeny bit of chemistry between the two, the producers just sink their teeth into it and do not let go.

Last time I checked, Alexis Ren was dating a photographer from Hawaii who goes by Sky Bear and the last photo he posted of her is from October 1st.
But after a quick search I came across an article from The Blast from October 20th that claims Alexis broke up with Sky to move full time to Hollywood and leave Hawaii.
The Blast - Sources close to the couple tell The Blast, the popular Instagram model — and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2018 Rookie of the Year — has decided to go Hollywood after being in town for just a few weeks as she films “DWTS.”
To do so, we’re told Ren will move from her home in Hawaii … which also coincides with to break up with her boyfriend, a photographer who goes by the name Sky Bear on social media.
Bear recently posted he was “leaving social media for a bit.” The two had been living in Hawaii together and had been dating for several months.
Interesting to note … Ren and her DWTS dancing partner, Alan Bersten, have been getting pretty close while filming, with judges even mentioning their chemistry.
And then DWTS played the full pre-dance package where Alexis full blown admits to Alan that she likes him and he basically has no answer except for “I have to be 100% sure about my feelings before I tell Alexis.” ALAN. WHAT. IT’S ALEXIS REN. This is how I know DWTS has some of this manufactured. Alexis breaks up with her boyfriend in Hawaii just in time for the Alexis and Alan rumors to take off and and pull people in. It works every time, especially on suckers like me. I will always be more interested in a pairing on DWTS if there is a romance rumor behind it. Now there could really be true feelings here, but it appears she’s only been “single” for a few weeks max. However, I would be shocked if Alan actually had no interest.

Bravo DWTS, bravo. They close it all out with even more awkward questioning from Erin Andrews.
Here is where they get me. The red faces, hiding, awkward laughs make it all seem genuine to me. There’s no shot Alan doesn’t have a crush on Alexis, and Alan seems sweet and adorable! They spend every day together for weeks and week. They really do have chemistry on the dance floor…so yeah. They got me. I’m all in on Alexis and Alan. It has happened before…Robert Herjavec MARRIED his pro partner Kym Johnson. It’s also been fake before. Pro Maks Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis had the ultimate will they/won’t they relationship on the show and nothing ever came from it.
I guess we will just have to wait and watch to see this develop…exactly what DWTS wants us to do. If their ballroom love story continues I’d bet Alexis and Alan have a one way ticket to the finale.
