We Have Our First Look At Jimmy Butler Talking About Today
By now, we all know today was an eventful day in Minnesota. It’s one of the many reasons the NBA is the most entertaining league in the world and it’s not even close. It then came out that Jimmy Butler was going to have a sit down with ESPN to air everything out for tonight’s SportsCenter. Well, we have our first clip from that interview with Rachel Nichols and they waste no time in talking about today’s practice.
I like how Jimmy didn’t try and sugarcoat it or dance around it, he admitted much of what came out today on Twitter was true. You saw his face when she read Woj’s report back to him. He loves it. You damn right he thinks Wiggins/KAT are soft as hell and that this team is nothing without him. He’s just trying to hoop and prove he can hang with the best, even if that means beating up on many of his teammates who he thinks are trash.

My question is, this all seems a little convenient no? I mean Rachel Nichols just happened to be in the area? Maybe this sit down was always planned and Jimmy did this to cause a stir and bring in ratings? I dunno what’s going on but I don’t know if this passes the smell test. Maybe if this interview happened like a week after this practice I would feel differently, but it all happening what, within an hour of each other, feels strange.
Either way, I’ll be watching this full interview because the Jimmy Butler Saga is why I wake up in the morning. I just hope they go deeper into what happened today, because it sounds fucking awesome
