Charles Oakley Argues With Draymond, Issues A Threat To The Warriors Offense

You know what? I believe him. Does this have anything to do with the 90s Knicks being my favorite team in sports history? Does it have anything to do with me naming my dog Oakley after Charles? Does it have to do anything with me being terrified that if I say anything negative that Oak will find out about it and threaten me? Yes to all of them.

I can’t get enough of this though. First off, Oakley just showing up to Morton’s at 4am is so perfect. Do you know how tough it has to be for a 54 year old to stay awake at 4am? He had to either be waking up for the day or had to piss and decided to wander out.

Then you have him arguing with Draymond. That’s just the perfect scene. Oakley walking in, going right to Draymond and saying they wouldn’t have scored against him is just exactly how I picture it happening. Nobody and I mean nobody takes more pride in their defense than Charles Oakley, it doesn’t matter how old he ends up being.

As for the logical standpoint? Yeah, the Warriors would be just fine in the pick and roll against the Knicks. I’m pretty sure Durant would have no problem going into the lane. I’m pretty sure Steph would continue his unbelievable job of contorting his body and finding ways to finish. Oh and 3 is worth more than 2 anyways. But you better believe, Oak/Mason/Ewing would get their fouls worth.

That said, if you don’t think Oakley would immediately start the game by taking two hands and forearms directly to Draymond’s chest you’re out of your goddamn mind.
