A Rangers Fan Once Pissed On Islander Duane Sutter At A Mets Game

On today's Spittin' Chiclets, we were blessed with the presence of Brent Sutter and his many stories from a more outrageous time in the hockey world. Brent played in the National from 1981-1998 back when it was still very much like SLAP SHOT and 'tummy sticks' weren't even a concept. He won back-to-back Stanley Cups with his brother Duane as members of the New York Islanders. But this story about Duane that he shared didn't take place in a rink or even during the winter. It happened at Shea Stadium in the early '80s and is a quintessential NY fan story. Take it away, Brent...

Just outrageous behavior from a sports fan but par for the course in that place and era. But Sutter has even crazier stories from his junior days. He instantly became one of our favorite guests and interviews. Be sure to check out Episode 324 to hear them as well from our old pal Keith Yandle fresh off his 1000th NHL game.
