#THON 2017 Is Upon Us - A Must Read Blog For Anyone With A Soul

It’s #THON time, bitches. This event deserves it’s own blog because it’s that important and needs to get as much exposure as it can. People who read Barstool Philly obviously know my disdain for Penn State and the cult like atmosphere of everyone that has ever stepped foot in Happy Valley, but if there’s one thing that PSU does right it’s THON. It’s a year long fundraising effort for Pediatric Cancer resulting in a 48-hour stand/dance-a-thon starting today which also results in the largest, student run philanthropic effort in the world. It really doesn’t matter what they’re doing or your thoughts on Penn State. It could be a month long duck fisting fest in Beaver Stadium for all I care, as long as they keep raising these funds for this cause they should be respected.
