The Edmonton Oilers Are Officially Back As Their Owner Is (Allegedly) Offering Brazilian Models Millions Of Dollars To Bang
Variety – A Brazilian actress-model is accusing an NHL owner and financier behind Silver Pictures of offering her “millions” of dollars and a movie role in exchange for sex.
The model, Greice Santo, who had a recurring role in “Jane the Virgin,” alleges that she was twice lured to the hotel room of Daryl Katz, the Canadian billionaire who owns the Edmonton Oilers, with promises that he could help her acting career. Santo says that although she spurned Katz’s advances, she later received two wire transfers totaling $35,000. In an interview, she said that such behavior is typical in Hollywood.
Okay so just for starters let’s get a couple of things out of the way here. 1) None of this has been proven yet in a court of law. Everything is just alleged for now. I feel like that’s something I should make clear before Katz sends any lawyers my way. And 2) here is Greice Santo. A Brazilian actress/model who is in “Jane The Virgin” which I guess is a show. The Edmonton Oilers are officially back, people. Make no mistake about it. Is (allegedly) attempting to exchange millions of dollars and a movie role for sex a bit extreme? I’d say so. Is (allegedly) luring a woman into your hotel room with promises to help her acting career as long as she bangs you pretty creepy? You bet your ass it is. Is (allegedly) unsolicitedly wiring a woman $35,000 to persuade her to fuck you over the top even for a billionaire? While I’m sure the intentions were purely for flattery sakes, yes, that’s a bit over the top. I’m not here to condone or argue for any of that.
What I am here to say is that for the first time in 10 years, the Edmonton Oilers are in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Daryl Katz purchased the Oilers for $200 million in 2008. So for 8 years, Daryl Katz paid $200 million to own one of the worst teams in hockey history. But now in his 9th year as the team owner and four #1 overall picks later, his investment is finally starting to pay off and his team is finally back in the playoffs. For the first time as an owner, Daryl Katz has a playoff hockey team. So no shit he’s (allegedly) going to be going a little wild right now. No shit he’s (allegedly) going to be feeling himself and (allegedly) going to try to have sexual relations with Brazilian actress/models. Like I said, he (allegedly) went the wrong way about all of this. But I’ll tell you who doesn’t (allegedly) try to bang Brazilian actress/models for millions of dollars and movie roles–a losing owner whose team is in the basement of the league every year. But the Oilers are back and Daryl Katz is feeling invincible. That’s the thing about shooters, folks. They allegedly shoot.
