Just when you think Ruben Amaro couldn’t be any more of a walking factory of incompetence, he goes ahead and pulls a stunt like this. Yeah, we get there’s a plan in place, and it sucks. This “plan” involved trading 4 fire prospects to the Houston Astros for Hunter Pence, then dishing the OF to the Giants for peanuts less than a year later. This “plan” has resulted in 3 of the top 25 HIGHEST PAID ATHLETES IN THE WORLD to be on the same last place team. This “plan” has, without fail, made the Phillies worse every single year since Ruben Amaro took over in 2009. Fuck you, your plan and the horse you rode in on, Rubes. Don’t talk about it, be about it.

And to think, this organization was FLYING high when they won 7 of 8 last week. Forget about riding into that cocktease with a 4-game losing streak and putting together 4 out of 5 losses since. We almost had somewhat watchable baseball there for a hot minute.
