Phil Kessel From The Top Rope!
Amazing. Flawless. Perfect all around. You can use those words to describe Phil Kessel at all times. But especially after this tweet throwing a hot dog stand’s worth of shade all over US Hockey. It was an abomination when they left Kessel off the initial 16-man roster for the World Cup. Everybody thought it was some sort of sick joke when he was left off the roster completely when the final lineups were announced. And then tonight, when Team USA got beyond embarrassed by Team Canada, where was their fat faced scoring hero when they needed him the most? At home with the dog. Incredible.
We’ll have more on the game tomorrow. It was horrifying to say the least. But when we, as a nation, are at our darkest… at least we can count on Phil Kessel to shine a little light into our lives.
