LaVar Ball Hopped On Philly Sports Radio And Wants The Sixers To Get Their Asses Off The Goddamn Tweeters

LaVar Ball hopped on 97.5 The Fanatic this afternoon with Rob Ellis and Geoff Mosher. For the most part, he actually did a pretty solid job of explaining himself and his antics. Ellis and Mosher were obviously fishing for some outrageous reactions but he stayed pretty calm for 10-15 minutes. He even managed to have the most rational take ever on the Big Baller Brand prices.

People want to laugh their ass off at $495 shoes but it’s not like anybody is holding anybody else at gun point to buy them. But that’s regardless. Because after about 15 minutes of a pretty genuine, down to earth interview, they decided to start asking LaVar about the Sixers. Specifically this tweet.

And that’s when LaVar Ball instantly became Public Enemy No. 1 in the city of Philadelphia. Now truth be told, his answer isn’t 100% wrong. Embiid has only played 31 games. Simmons and Fultz have both played zero. So for the time being, most of the best highlights from these guys have been on social media. But if LaVar Ball paid any attention at all to the Sixers, he’d know that these guys are basically living in the Sixers’ practice facility. He’d know that Embiid has been working 23 hours a day preparing to ruin Lonzo’s life.

It’s just that he spends the only free hour of his day crushing Twitter and that’s all people really seem to care about outside of Philly right now. So yeah. If I were LaVar Ball, I’d probably tell Embiid to spend a little more time on the Tweeters and to stay out of the gym. Because as long as he stays healthy, he might become the CEO of Big Baller Brand by 2019.

P.S. – “If you really that good, your team gotta go at least .500 even if you’ve got a bunch of blind midgets” is an A1 quality quote.
