Jason Jones Leaving The Daily Show Made Me More Sad Than It Should

10 years on the show, man.  10 freaking years.  I suppose it’s sad because an era is slowly coming to an end and will finally be over when Jon Stewart leaves sometime this year.  But Jason Jones has been a rock on this show.  Always bringing the heat with the funny and intelligence no matter what.  He now leaves the wife behind and joins the ranks of Steve Carrell, Stephen Colbert, John Oliver, Rob Corddry, Ed Helms, Rob Riggle as Daily Show almuni who have gone onto bigger and better things (lot of white guy success coming out of that show).  Wait, he’s going to star on a TBS sitcom?  That’s a bold move, Jones.  Let’s see how that works out for you.

Definitely my favorite Jason Jones piece and arguably one of the best bits in Daily Show history is when they sent him up to visit “Real America”.  Touche.
