First and foremost, please remember the charity this event is for, Brave Hearts For Strong Minds. It’s a GREAT organization run by local Stoolies that helps out kids who have lost a parent in regards to being able to afford further education. If that video didn’t get you where it feels then you have no soul. Be sure to support this cause and charity whether you plan on golfing or not.

We’re maxed out at 100 people and will be starting the Scramble promptly at noon. Registration starts at 11 (we’ll be there before if you want to get there early) and if you’re not there by noon then you’re not playing on time. IF YOU PAID AND A MEMBER OF YOUR FOURSOME DIDN’T GET AN EMAIL, EMAIL PHILLYTIPS@BARSTOOLSPORTS.COM IMMEDIATELY. Figure about 4 hours for the round with and then we’re directly to the clubhouse for dinner/reception/booze.

For the prizes via My Golf Concierge, you have to download the Golf Genius App to your phone and keep a live score. Here are the details for that:
For Saturday’s event, we will be using real-time scoring provided by Golf Genius Software, a company that specializes in golf events, leagues and trips.
The free Golf Genius app is available for iPhone, Android and Windows phones. Please download the app in advance by visiting golfgenius.com/mobile or by searching “Golf Genius” in the app store.
When you launch the app, there will be a page to enter a user id/password OR GGID. You just need to enter the 6-digit GGID code which your group will receive on Saturday. Only one person in each foursome needs to be responsible for entering scores while the others can keep an eye on the live leaderboard.
To enter scores, click on Scoring and then Edit Scores. Because it’s a scramble, one name in the foursome will come up to enter a score for the entire group. Click save and it will take you to the next hole. With a shotgun start, be sure that the first hole you enter a score for is in fact your group’s starting hole.
Note: To be eligible to win the trip to PGA West your foursome MUST be entering scores during the round.
