I'm Thoroughly Confused By This New Japanese Commercial Featuring Cristiano Ronaldo

As if you needed one, here is yet another reminder that Japan is the weirdest place on planet Earth. It seems like they’re under the assumption that there’s some worldwide competition going on where everyone is trying to out-bizarro each other, when in reality they are just in a fight against themselves. Now there’s no denying the fact that Cristiano Ronaldo is devilishly handsome and is the perfect choice to be the face of this product. But how in the hell does a company who makes a facial fitness product have enough money to give Ronaldo to make this gig worth his while? Has he somehow managed to become broke? Is he just greedy as shit and will take anything thrown his way? Does he actually use the product? That’s the question I need an answer to the most because if this is something that can get a kid who looks like this to end up the way Ronaldo looks now, then I’ll take three of them.
