And I get it. I do. The Predators have been getting their dicks kicked in for 2 straight games. Subban is just trying to do whatever he can to give his team any sense of life out there. And Geno? Well I gotta give the guy credit. He didn’t need to oblige Subban with this fight. He leads the playoffs with 26 points and there’s also this stat.
I don’t care who you are or what team you play for. That is a raw stat. Unfortunately, the stat looks way cooler than the actual fight though. All I’ve been doing on this website is preach about how big and bad and tough hockey players are. How they settle their differences with their fists instead of subtweeting their opponents with a bunch of cryptic emojis. Then we’ve got games televised on NBC for the Stanley Cup Final and this is the fight that the rest of the world gets to see. I’ve seen Bryce Harper throw better punches than any of the ones in this video and he throws hands about as well as a T-Rex.
Only thing worse than that fight so far this series has been Pekka Rinne.
