Hey America, Wonder Why Philly Grew Tired Of Andy Reid? Well Look No Further Than The Stat Line From KC's Home Opener Loss

From Reid’s Monday Morning Press Conference:

On 11 touches for Jamaal – “Not giving 25 the ball more than seven times was negligence on my part,” Reid said. Charles had seven rushes and four receptions on the day. We already talked about this. Here’s what Reid said: “They primarily went with a cover 3 look or a cover 4 with a cheat safety look,” Reid said. “Both are good run stopping coverages. They played gaps and started shooting the gaps. It wasn’t anything that should have deterred us off the run game as much as it did.”

IT’S DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Nobody from Philadelphia is denying Andy Reid’s contributions to the Eagles and the city. Greatest coach in Eagles history, hands down. BUT, his time had come, and this is one of the biggest reasons people grew weary of the man.

I pity KC fans right now. Yeah, they’re talented enough to make another playoff run. They’ll definitely be above average throughout Reid’s tenure dressed as a real life Kool-Aid Man. But this…this is just the same shit, different team. The man has arguably the most talented player in the NFL and Big Red gives only 7 rushing attempts. SEVEN!!!! And after the fact he even admits he should have run the ball more but for some reason didn’t. It’s the definition of insanity with this man. And don’t give me this KC got blown out so they had to throw all game happy crap. Yes, they ended up losing 26-10, but it was a 10-3 game at the half. That’s it. Charles should have gotten 10 touches in the first half alone. It looks like somebody went back to his old ways and abandoned the run the instant it didn’t work. He’s not even coaching my team anymore and it’s frustrating me more than it should.

Have fun with this one for the next decade, Chief fans. #InChipWeTrust.
