Flyers Call Up Shayne Gostisbehere, So We'll Just Take the Cup Now

NHL: Preseason-Philadelphia Flyers at New York Rangers

And just like that, the Flyers immediately become Stanley Cup contenders. Shayne Gostisbehere will be making his NHL debut tonight against the Red Wings and the Ghost Era has officially commenced. Now promptly uptuck that boner you’re rocking. Ghost gets the call up after we learned that Braydon Coburn and Andrew MacDonald will both be missing up to 4 weeks with lower body injuries. At first, that sounded like a Flyers defense which was already piss poor has just gotten much much poorer. But after the news of Gostisbehere getting recalled from Lehigh Valley, I couldn’t care less. Looks like he’ll be getting some TOI with the 2nd PP unit so it would be extremely ill-advised for any team to take a penalty against the Flyers right now. Ghost had a great preseason and if he can actually play well during his up with the big dawgs well then it’s time to pray for the rest of the NHL. BOOYAH.
