Das Germans Coming In Hot With An A+ Michigan Goal In League Finals

Gunter Glieben Glauchen Globen

While there were no Stanley Cup Playoffs to watch last night, that doesn’t mean that the puck highlights were going to be put on hold for a full 24-hours. Here we have Viktor Beck who plays for the Fischtown Pinguins in the DEL2. I guess that’s like the AHL of Germany? Either way, this is one of the smoothest lacrosse style goals ever. The Michigan isn’t nearly as rare anymore and I’m pretty sure it’s the 3rd one this year already on the site. But usually when you see it, the scorer is able to get the defenseman hung up above the net and he can set himself up with no real pressure . That wasn’t totally the case here and it was still silk city. No idea what kind of defense #5 in white was playing but my man is lucky this isn’t Nazi Germany anymore. Also, even though I couldn’t understand a lick of that play call, I can tell this commentator is the Doc Emrick of German hockey. Dude knows how to bring it in the booth.
