But seriously, maybe this kid shouldn’t be playing hockey anymore. This video comes courtesy of a little Bantam CC action in Canada between Les Montagnards de Ste-Agathe and Mont-Tremblant (goddamn French Canadians). I have no idea what kind of talent level “Bantam CC” brings in but I have to imagine that these kids all have future aspirations of being the next Raffi Torres or some shit like that. You know how you’d watch highlight videos before games regardless of what sport you played to get yourself fired up for the game? Maybe watch some Pavel Bure videos just so you could think about doing anything remotely similar to what he would do on the ice? Well this kid for sure just watches video after video of guys like Marty McSorley for his pregame. I mean, it’s a pretty shitty camera angle we’re working with here so maybe, juuuust maybe the stick connected with the shoulder first. But that looks like a clear hack to the dome to me. I guess it’s better to go out in a blaze of glory? I don’t know, the kid’s an asshole.
