Bloody Bloke On Great Britain Scores A Between-The-Legs Beauty At The Worlds

While the 2015 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs are currently underway, do NOT take the 2015 IIHF Div. 1 Group B World Championship Tournament lightly. Here we have Great Britain’s Ben O’Connor (ever heard of ‘em?) bullying the South Koreans as if his name were Kim Jong-O’Connor. Honestly, that was a pretty slick move. The between-the-legs shot isn’t too impressive on its own, but sticking it top-titty while skating backwards adds a little more difficulty. Mix that in with the fact that this was on a penalty shot attempt and not just in a shootout and you’ve got yourself a pretty ballsy goal. But what really pulled this whole thing together was the play-by-play announcers just losing their goddamned minds. I love Doc and Eddie O calling the shots just as much as the next guy, but I wouldn’t mind giving this wankers a game or two in the Cup Finals.

P.S. – Great Britain beat South Korea 3-2. This goal was the game winner, and the Brits are currently in 1st place in the round robin stage of the tournament. Just looking out for all of you who are looking for some Div 1 Group B updates. I got you covered.
