Yoenis Cespedes Uses "Circle Of Life" From The Lion King As His Walk Up Music, Hits Walk Off Home Run Directly To A Fan Dressed As Simba

Nannnnnnts ingonyamaaaa bagithi babaaaaa! What a power move by Yo. The Lion King for his walk up music. The Circle Of Life. It’s not a move I expected from him. You expect some Latin music. Or last year when he had his own custom walk up “La Potencia.” But Circle of Life actually fits him perfectly. Because he is the beginning, the middle, and the end. He is all that is man. He is life and death all at the same time. Nature is powerful. Nature is scary. Nature is all about the food chain and who is the biggest, strongest and fastest. And Yo is a lion. He sits atop that food chain. Yo is King of the Jungle.

And in what has to be the most improbable moment in sports history, someone dressed up as Simba caught last night’s walk off.

What are the chances of that? Legit a trillion to one. A grown adult choosing to dress up as Simba for a baseball game somehow is the 1 person in a stadium that holds 50,000 people that catches a home run from the man who just switched to the Lion King as his walk up music. If they write that story into a Disney script, it gets rejected for being too far fetched. THATS the kind of stuff that makes me think the Mets are winning the World Series. Its all about the Juju. Last year was parakeets and raccoons, this year we’re doing lions. Place your bets now. Mets 2016 World Champions.

PS – Its fucking TREMENDOUS that we’ve got fans going to games dressed as Simba. Thats the kinda shit you need during a September postseason push. I want the whole crowd dressed as freaks for this last month of the year. And the freakshow starts this weekend with another edition of Barstool at The Ballpark. Saturday night. Mets vs Nats. $90. Unlimited Beer. Practically watching postseason baseball. People dressed as lions. Lets. Fucking. Go.
