Yankees Fans All Butthurt Because A Few Mets Fans Did A Roll Call At Yesterday's Game

This is what its come to for Yankees fans. Getting all riled up over the little game they play in the bleachers. “Thats how we cheer for our team! Not how you cheer for your team!” Used to just constantly rub World Series rings and AL East pennants in our faces and now their stamping their feet over their special cheer. Cute.

To be honest this whole thing has been blown completely out of proportion. I was there yesterday with the 7 Line. There were 860 people in centerfield. About 20 people did this roll call. The vast, vast majority of the 7 Line didnt participate because every knows it is a Yankee thing. Its not like it was an organized chant by Darren for all the members sitting in centerfield. It happened before in the past and he posted on his own site saying it shouldnt be something Mets fans do. So it was just a handful of fans who thought it would be a good idea. Admittedly I thought it was stupid, and most Mets fans do too. Yankees fans can have their roll call. To be honest its like all they got left. The rest of the stadium is always empty and the product on the field is trash. You guys can keep your cheer routine in the bleachers.

Oh and if you guys didn’t like the 7 Line now, just wait until the first game of the Subway Series next weekend.

Next Friday might be the loudest the new Yankee Stadium  has ever been and it will be because of Mets fans. 1300 fans is A LOT. There’s gonna be entire sections of orange and blue taking over in the Bronx. If a half assed roll call ruffled feathers, just wait until the 7 Line completely dominates Yankees fans on their own turf.
