WHO the hell else but John Tavares would send this team into the 2nd round for the first time in 23 years. Literally couldn’t script it any better. Isles trail 1-0 for the majority of the game, JT scores with 53 seconds left to force OT. Head into double-OT, and JT finishes it to make yet another notch in NHL history. Just can’t script this shit.
I may write a billion words about this game tomorrow, I’m not good with hitting the under. But enjoy this one Isles fans, been a long time coming.
