I wont lie to you, I think I want a Patriots loss today more than anything else I currently want in my life. I think I would pay a sizable amount of money if I could guarantee a Pats loss. Like write a check for 5 grand to buy a Pats loss and I’d sign that shit in a heartbeat. I feel like I’ve got just as much skin in the game as Pats and Seahawks fans. And unless you’re from New England, you should be rooting with every fiber of your being for a Pats loss too. The Seahawks, aside from Marshawn Lynch, are one of the least likable teams out there as well, but it doesnt even matter. If you have any human decency you need to root against Tom Brady and the Patriots.
Why? Because its just not right. Whats going on in Boston just isnt fucking right. This is the 13th time in the last 13 years that a team from Boston is in the championship. THIRTEEN. Thats just fucking sickening. Portnoy, for all intents and purposes, is a bad person. Why do good things keep happening to him? Why do good things happen to all those fucking Massholes? How can you possibly think these fucking assholes deserve this? They dont. This run needs to come to an end. Its like the rich getting richer. Its like a millionaire winning the lottery. I fucking hate that and you should too.
I’m fully bracing for the Pats to win. My brain is saying the Seahawks are probably the (slightly) better team and should win. My head is saying all the off the field nonsense the past 2 weeks is meaningless and the Pats havent played a worthy opponent in like 3+ weeks and Seattle should get the job done. But I dont see Brady and Belichick losing this. As a Patriots hater we’ve had too much luck the past decade. Dodged 2 MAJOR bullets the previous 2 Super Bowls. I feel like that luck runs out today and they finally win another. But I wont lie that I’m still praying to everything holy that they dont. I wont sugar coat this and pretend that it wont bother me if they win. Portnoy winning yet again and continuing this ridiculous hot streak of his will cut to my core. Idiots like Hank and Sales Guy living it up yet again will destroy me. I got just as much on the line as all of Pats nation. All I’ve got when it comes to sports is other fans being just as miserable as I am. Misery loves company. Unfortunately tonight I think my company tonight will be Seahawks fans.
