The Yankees Need A Rain Out

This weekend has gone about as bad as it possibly could so far and the last thing we need is to compound that by facing David Price in Fenway. Price hasn’t been great this year but if he goes out and shuts down the Yankee to complete a sweep, it will the thing that turns his season around and bring the morale on the Yankees down even more.

A lot of Yankee fans want Girardi fired and a lot want Cashman fired, but that won’t help anything. Part of the process to get rid of these contracts and get younger included the possibility that we would have some bad years. It’s still only May 1 so the season isn’t done and to keep playing this poorly would be almost impossible, so don’t jump ship on the season just yet. If it’s this bad in a month, the story is going to be different but for right now all we can do is hope that someone comes up with the big hit that we just can’t seem to find and turn this around.
