The Last Living 9/11 Search And Rescue Dog Got An Amazing Birthday Party For Turning 16

Tomorrow is the 14th anniversary of 9/11 and while unfortunately every year we forget some of the unifying positives that came from the adversity of that day in 2001, it’s nice to get a little feel-good story in remembrance and this one does it for me this year. Look at Bretagne’s face in all these moments!

The focus on her face when that gourmet burger comes in the room:

Just a beautiful video, beautiful enough to temporarily blind me to the fact this is a dog named “Brittany” whose name is spelled “Bretagne”. Like come on. But honestly amazing job here by Barkbox, A+ video all around. Thanks for your service, Bretagne. Keep wagging that tail, girl.
