ESPN – Round and round and round he goes. Where he stops, nobody knows. That’s been the NBA offseason thus far for Luke Ridnour, who was traded for a fourth time this offseason as the Oklahoma City Thunder sent the guard to theToronto Raptors on Tuesday.  In return, the Thunder got a $2.85 million trade exception and the rights to Tomislav Zubcic. Ridnour was acquired by the Thunder prior to the draft in a deal with the Charlotte Hornets that moved Jeremy Lamb. Since the end of the season, Ridnour has also been shipped from the Orlando Magic to the Memphis Grizzlies, from the Grizzlies to the Hornets, and from the Hornets to the Thunder. Ridnour, 34, has a fully nonguaranteed contract for next season that can be waived until July 10, which makes him a very tradeable asset. A 12-year veteran, Ridnour appeared in 47 games last season averaging 4.0 points and 2.0 assists for the Magic. The Thunder will have one year to exercise the trade exception. Zubcic was the 56th overall pick in the 2012 draft and has yet to play in the NBA.

Love the NBA basically playing Hot Potato with Luke Ridnour. Passing him around like the slutty chick in high school. Its almost like Musical Chairs and July 10th is when the music stops.

It sounds like Luke Ridnour is having some fun with all this but if thats me I’m going all out for every trade. Like Happy Gilmore demanding big checks for his 35th place finishes. I’m hosting press conferences. I’m releasing statements. Talking all about my new franchise and my new teammates every time I get moved. You know how many twitter followers you can gain with a stunt like that? You’ll be on the Late Night circuit in no time. Interview requests, probably a couple commercials. Maybe even a book deal. “The Most Wanted Man In The NBA.” Alright so maybe nobody would buy a book about that but I’d definitely laugh at some tweets. Bottom line is its time to capitalize, Luke. Your career is probably over on July 10 lets make the most of these next 10 days.
