Latrell Sprewell Is Looking Good These Days
What’s the easiest way to make people forget that you once choked your head coach and later turned down a $21 million dollar contract because you had to “feed your children” only to never sign another NBA contract again? Simple. Get long flowing blonde locks like a young, Destiny’s Child-era Beyonce to go with your sunrise (or is it a sunset?) neck tattoo. I mean if they don’t do a cup check, Latrell could always try to sneak into the WNBA. He always had soft eyes.
And to be fair to Latrell, I always thought his legacy would be the spinning rims and the shoes with the spinning rims. Nope. Life comes at you fast. At least our boy Spree is self aware.
Did Spree ever technically retire? Because if not, I need him to retire as a Knick like Amar’e just did more than anything on Earth.*
*Outside of Kristaps Porzingis announcing that he is not being traded and that moving tweet from earlier today was just because he got a new apartment in the city and wants a good, reliable, yet affordable moving company. I’m still shook over that.
