First we had Yung Taps just rolling over fools in Summer League while being compared to Dirk and Kevin Durant. Now we have his brother M?rti?š (I copied and pasted that from Wikipedia just to get the accents correct) draining shots from another zip code using a football. If this video had come out a couple of weeks later, we would have heard all the super original “Best QB in New York” jokes. And the pure goddamn joy on Zingis’ face says it all. He is adjusting to American life perfectly and is ready to win Rookie of the Year/MVP/Multiple championships in New York.
Now if you had told me before the draft that a couple of Latvians were about to set the imaginations of New York City and America ablaze, I would have called you a liar.
