Dude Stabs Another Man In Dispute Over A Subway Seat

NEW YORK — Police are hoping surveillance video will help find a man who they said attacked another man on the subway in a dispute over a seat. It happened around 2 p.m. Sunday on a southbound No. 2 train at Third Avenue and East 149th Street in the Bronx. Police said the man, who is between 45 and 50 years old, got into an argument with a 25-year-old man over seat on the train. That’s when he pulled a sharp object, a knife or possibly a razor, and stabbed the man in the stomach and arm before running from the station, police said.

You think its a game? You think its a fucking game??? Subway Life is not for the faint of heart. Not even at 2pm on a Sunday. You think the struggle is real when you’re commuting home from work? 7pm on the 6 train with 300 bodies in a 100 person car, packed ass to dick with people fighting for air to breathe, let alone space to stand? That aint got nothing on the 2 train at 149th on a Sunday afternoon. Honestly I cannot even imagine how many subway seats were available on a Sunday at 2pm. You can practically stretch out and lay down at that hour. Put your bags on seats. Usually you get your pick of the litter.

But somehow, someway, this old head found a way to stab a dude over a seat dispute. Something tells me this was about respect. Respecting your elders. 25 year old young’n acting like he owned the 2 train and this cat needed to put him in his place. Not condoning subway stabbing I’m just saying there are rules and codes to the subway. Especially when it comes to seats. Regulations that need to be followed. Even at 2pm on a Friday. And if you break those rules there are consequences and repercussions to your actions. Could be a sassy black chick screaming in your face, could be an old man stabbing you with a razor blade.
