Good News! Derrick Rose Is Back In New York And At The Knicks Practice Facility!

Well I guess the Knicks are back to being a Super Team again! Last night’s shitfest against the Pelicans technically counts in the standings but doesn’t count in my mind because no team should expect to play well after their point guard disappeared off the face of the Earth. Pretty sure “Your point guard not vanishing into thin air” is one of the blocks at the base of John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success.

But seriously, how does Derrick Rose feel going back into work today? Just pull a Costanza by walking on the court and act like nothing happened? Then again, if any franchise in the NBA is dysfunctional enough to excuse an unexplained absence out of the blue, it’s the New York Knicks. I mean Phil Jackson STILL hasn’t commented on this nonsense, even though it’s probably because he is writing it all out in his iPad Notes app. Or maybe he just forgot all about it because he’s a goddamn dinosaur. It’s times like this that I am happy we have a rock at the top of the Knicks org chart to guide this team through the troubled waters.
