Crazy Footage of The Shooting That Occurred In The Borough Hall Subway Station In Brooklyn

NYDN – Bloody pandemonium erupted in the Borough Hall subway station in Brooklyn Tuesday night when a retired correction officer shot and killed an apparently unarmed man who had confronted him on a No. 4 train moments earlier, police said. The man who was slain, Gilbert Drogheo, 32, and another man began harassing the 69-year-old retired officer as he boarded a Brooklyn-bound 4 train at the Bowling Green station in Manhattan around 6:30 p.m., according to police sources and a witness. “They were talking mad trash,” said the witness, 30-year-old Thomas Berry of Crown Heights, who was on his way home from work when he saw the argument. “They must have been drunk.” The witness said that either Drogheo or his friend told the older man: “Oh, I got you now, my n—–,” as the retired officer tried to walk between the pair to get on the train.  “(The older man) said, ‘I’m not your n—–, I’m not your boy,’” the witness said. “He said, ‘Leave me alone, don’t talk to me.’ He was being really calm.” But the dispute heated up as the train left the station and traveled through the tunnel under the East River, then turned violent when one member of the duo punched the retired correction officer in the head as he tried to get off at Borough Hall, Berry and police said.  “He just clocked the guy,” the witness said. “The older man was taken back. I saw him pull the gun out of the pocket.” The retired officer held the gun to the puncher’s side, but the younger man pushed him away, knocking him onto one of the subway car’s seats. “Everyone said ‘gun’ and ran off the train. I was standing there in shock. I didn’t know what happened,” Berry said.

This is complete fucking BEDLAM. I mean the subway is basically the fucking jungle to begin with. The Wild West. Every time you go underground its like you hop into a time machine and travel back in time to some Lord of the Flies shit. Its hard enough to navigate the homeless people, the crazy people, the breakdancers, the candy sellers, and of course the Asians, now you gotta be on alert for retired cops firing bullets. There is pure chaos as it is, I cant imagine the scene when gunshots are heard. Surprised nobody else was killed or injured in the stampede afterward. People will step on a newborn trying to make their connecting train, imagine the reaction when they’re running for their lives. Like fucking Costanza in a fire.

PS – Love this chick popping out of the subway murder scene like it aint not thang after the anchor zooms in on it being shut down. Thats some asshole New Yorker shit right there.
